The Good Work Of Ex-Cons... Does It Exist?

Is it possible for an ex-convict
to do anything meaningful?

A felon who has done time in prison
can he ever again
add positive value to our society?

What do YOU think?
Or rather,
what would you allow him to do?

Many of us start by thinking,
how we would limit a convict,
“Ex” or otherwise.

We think to ourselves;
“ I don’t want you to live near me.”
You don’t deserve government loans,
for a home or to become a student.”
“I don’t want to work with you.”
“I won’t give you a job.”
You are responsible for your own future.”
“And PLEASE don’t sit next to me in church!”

If we cut-off the resources,
If we disconnect ourselves,
If we give none a second chance,
how does anything improve?

How do their lives change for the better?

Where can Christ connect in our society
if not the place with the most hurt people?

Now please read the headline below,
then click on the link to learn more
and tell me if this man deserves anything new?

What the governor did isn’t the important part,
it is this man’s heart to serve by helping others.

What does he deserve?
Nothing...
but if he has accepted Christ,
then he has gained a place in heaven for all eternity!

What do YOU think now?

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
but fools despise wisdom and discipline.
