New Post: "Pushing Into the Difficult Areas of Life." - Part 1

I am a fairly good listener.
But I dont always like to listen to my wife.

When I work with other men,
I often hear many similar comments:
“My boss doesn’t understand me.”
“My kids dont respect me.”
“The parole officer is too hard on me.”
“The world is getting worse.”
Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.

We have all heard things similar before;
a complaint about how things should be...
and how disturbed we are that things wont get better.
But what do we do to help make things better?

Often, we do nothing...
yet we reserve the right to complain about anything!

I have heard it said that
the things we complain about most in other people
are often the very things we struggle with in ourselves.

Over the next few days, I will be writing about the uncomfortable places
many of us want to avoid most,
and how we can help to make improvements in those very areas.
For now I will leave you with an thought provoking concept:

if you are even 1% to blame for any problem you see,

then you are partly responsible for helping to solve it.

So come back Tuesday, and open yourself up to some new, perhaps even enlightening ideas!
